Have you been to Van Gogh yet?
The Van Gogh exhibit at Canada's National Gallery is a wonder and well worth the visit. Seeing all his wonderful paintings reminded me of these bikes that were at Ottawa City Hall a few weeks back. I wonder what became of them?
One went to a school in Ottawa, one was given to Hub Ottawa. A few are still at the Dutch embassy, one will be given as a prize through a contest with the Ottawa Citizen soon - Hans M.
The white one went to a friend of mine in the west end. She won the draw. I just saw it for the first time over the holidays. It's really nice. Quite a tank - it is very heavy and the top of your head is well over six feet when you sit on it. She loves the bike but it would not even be really practical for a commute over 10 km. She uses it for errands, pleasure cruising and other very local things. The bike is very nice.
